The rest, in full

You see your portraits and decide at your Private Viewing: on Zoom, from home, 3 to 14 days after the session.

Come to your Private Viewing, and if you don't love your portraits enough to hang them, the reservation fee is returned, less the card processing fee and a $15 studio fee where it applies — our Hang-It Guarantee. Credits are usable only at your Private Viewing.

Orders of $1,000 and up can be split into 3 or 6 payments; Klarna and Affirm are available too. The card you use for the fee stays on file with Stripe and is charged later only when you ask. Every decision is made at the viewing, and all sales are final after it.

Printed pieces are shipped to your home 10 to 12 weeks after the final payment, shipping included; digital files within 10 to 15 business days.

Who you'll meet

Your photographers in Natick.

One of them will welcome you, play with your pup and photograph your session. In their own words:

  • Gavi, photographer at Kristal Studios

    Gavi

Hi, I’m Gavi! Connecting with people through photography fills me with joy, and I love working with all types of dogs, from shy pups to bundles of energy. My approach is simple: capture the special moments of your life in the most authentic way.

  • Julia, photographer at Kristal Studios

    Julia

Hi, I’m Julia! I love every dog who walks through our door, from the calmest to the wildest. Your pup sets the pace, and I’ll make sure they have fun. You just enjoy the moment.

In their own words

“She masterfully captured a moment that's gone forever, impossible to reproduce.”

Rena P., West Palm Beach. Our reviews so far come from our Florida clients, word for word; Natick's will be here as they come.

“I did not go into this experience expecting to purchase any photos (and I will admit they are quite pricey) but when I saw the amazing photos I had to get them.”

“I have two dogs and it wasn't easy to have them stay still! She was able to capture the moment and we got excellent shots of my dogs!”

Holli C., Punta Gorda · a screenshot of the original, word for word

Is this for real?

“I was definitely hesitant thinking maybe it could be a scam.”

We understand. This studio is a real room at 11 South Main Street in Natick, across from the Common, open by appointment, and one of three — making portraits since 2010, in the United States since 2018. The only money before your Private Viewing is the reservation fee: it holds your date, and it comes back to you, less the card processing fee and a $15 studio fee where it applies, or goes toward your portraits.

Why are some sessions complimentary?

Our session fee is $450. We've updated our studio displays and are adding new portraits to our website, so for the dogs and families we select, the fee is waived and $200 in studio credit goes toward their portraits. We earn our living from the portraits, not the hour: at your Private Viewing you see them at wall size and decide whether to order. The reservation fee is the only money before that, and it comes back, less the card processing fee and a $15 studio fee where it applies, if you order nothing.

What if I don't buy anything?

That's your choice. Come to your Private Viewing, and if you don't order, your reservation fee is returned, less the card processing fee and a $15 studio fee where it applies — as our Terms say.

What if my dog won't sit still?

Most don't. Your dog meets the photographer off the leash first, there are treats in every pocket, and we go at your dog's pace. Older and anxious dogs are welcome.
